BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN HUNTER VALLEY! 5/5 for service, atmosphere, price and quality of ingredients. It’s very hard to find an Indian restaurant where the chef has mastered all aspects of Indian food such as curries, biryanis, entrees and desserts. But oh my lord! Kudos to the owner Amit and Swetta. I wish you guys the utmost respect and hope your business flourishes.
Very cozy place, nice atmosphere, service is on high level, the owner himself is a chef and involved in all the processes. Butter chicken with garlic naan was extra delicious. The best butter chicken I ever had in my life (even better than I ate in India). My friends ordered chicken tikka and chicken dum biriyani and they were satisfied as well. Mango lassi and gulab jamun made the perfect end of our dinner. Strongly recommend this place!
Swaadisht...Trust me... I tried Malai kofta, kadahi paneer with three types of bread. It was served Hot & Fresh.. Also try Rasmalai in sweets 😋 You'll enjoy with light indian instrumental music..
Absolutely amazing on all levels. The friendly atmosphere is very welcoming. We eat Indian food a lot in various places around Australia and this is by far the best we have had. Can’t praise it enough. Have eaten here and got take away 3 times in August. It’s BYO and the prices for the food are very reasonable.
Phenomenal on all levels. Food was the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted and the whole entire atmosphere and beautiful family that run it made it a wonderful experience for our family tonight! And we had 16 people at our table and EVERYONE was impressed!!! Can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu.
Absolute Aroma newest Indian Restaurant in Cessnock, conveniently located in town centre, with on street parking. Restaurant is warm and on the cosy side although it does open to a lovely garden courtyard, for alfresco summer dining. Greeted promptly, service welcoming for takeaway ordered 6 dishes (2 entrees, 2 mains, 2 others rice and naan) $90 ready in 20 minutes, still ready to serve when arrived home. The food was delicious, full of flavour, generous amount of sauce, a very enjoyable meal, ordered mild goat curry little warm, perhaps it was the large chilli in the meal that added extra heat.
I was at a winery in Cessnock. I had gone to Absolute Aroma that evening with my family. We tried a range of Indian dishes including starters, main courses, desserts and they were all fantastic. My wife enjoyed the pani puri shots. For me Briyani and madras chicken were delicious.Being Sri Lankans 🇱🇰, we have always appreciated Indian cuisine.The service was extremely satisfactory. The owner arrived and confirmed that everything was alright. The rates were reasonable. Overall, we loved our dinner.

The best Indian restaurant hands down! I'm so glad we discovered this gem of a restaurant in our area. Having an Indian background in our family, trust us when we say we have tried lots and lots of places over the years but the food here is amazing. It is always so fresh and tasty, a really good variety and they're always really accommodating to make any modifications to your meal if required, less or more spice! We try our best to get here once a week for a meal, especially for the Thursday night buffet which our family really enjoys and it's great value for money. Just love this restaurant, the staff are so lovely as well which always makes for a really enjoyable experience when we dine here.
